Panama City Spearfishing
Diving the wrecks and reefs in search of dinner.
Spearing. Do you love fresh seafood? Do you love hunting? Do you have no fear of defending your dinner from the "man in the gray suit"?
Spearfishing is the most ethical form of marine harvest possible. It is highly selective, has zero bycatch and is the most humane of all gear types. This site is dedicated to the promotion of spearfishing, both freedive and scuba, and the conservation and intelligent management of the marine resources of the Gulf of Mexico. Additionally this website will link to the businesses that we find to be in line with these ideals.

The guys at Panama City Dive Charters are putting on an intro to spearfishing class every month from now on. The class will cover fish ID, Regulations, Technique, Gear Selection and  Ethics on day 1. Day 2 is shooting fish on the boat. Space is limited, everything is included. $250 850-588-8077 Day 1 will be a Friday afternoon and Day 2 is a Saturday.

Check out what Bob did!

Robb Dryden double gunning his way to big fish on one of Panama City Dive Charters' spearfishing trips.

While these divers were in awe of this rare 25-30' whale shark in local water, they didn't forget their guns and were able to shoot a few of the "tag alongs" while diving off the Steel Slinger
